Our Infrastructure: Private. Local. Independent.
Most of the modern web lives in “The Cloud”—which is really just someone else’s computer. This website is different.
In a world of constant surveillance and data brokering, we have opted for a different path. This site is hosted on private, independent hardware managed entirely in-house. We don’t rely on massive corporate data centers, and we don’t play by their rules.
1. No Tracking & No Harvesting
We do not use tracking pixels, invasive cookies, or third-party analytics. We have zero interest in your browsing habits, your location, or your digital footprint. We are here to share information, not to harvest yours.
2. Zero Data Monetization
We do not sell, trade, or share any information with advertisers, data brokers, or tech giants. Since we don’t collect your data in the first place, there is nothing for us to monetize.
3. Server-Side Transparency
- Logs: Our servers may generate basic technical logs for security and troubleshooting (such as identifying broken links or server errors). These logs are internal, kept on our hardware, and periodically purged.
- Cookies: This site is designed to function without tracking cookies. If a session cookie is ever required for site functionality, it is temporary and never used for identification.
- Third-Party Scripts: We avoid “calling home” to external libraries or fonts whenever possible to ensure your IP address isn’t leaked to third-party providers.
4. The “Right to Know”
We believe in the Right to Repair and Data Sovereignty. This means you should know exactly where your data goes. When you visit this site, you are communicating directly with our private stack—no middleman, no corporate oversight, and no hidden telemetry.
Final Word: This is a human-centric space. You are a guest, not a product.
Terms of Service
- Acceptable Use: This site and its hosted services (including any “Living Demos”) are provided for educational and community purposes. Users agree not to engage in any activity that interferes with or disrupts the integrity of the server, including scraping, automated stress-testing, or unauthorized access attempts.
- Intellectual Property: Unless otherwise noted, all custom code, CSS, and documentation are the property of this site. Creative works, including illustrations and writing by featured contributors, remain the property of their respective creators.
- Service Availability: As a privately hosted infrastructure, uptime is not guaranteed. Access may be suspended at any time for maintenance, migration, or security updates.
DIY & Safety Disclaimer
The hardware projects and modifications documented here—including but not limited to server migrations, PSU harness builds, and chassis reconstructions—are for informational purposes only. Working with electronics, soldering, and power supplies carries inherent risks, including fire, electric shock, and equipment damage.
By following any guides on this site, you assume all responsibility for your own safety and the integrity of your hardware. The author is not liable for any injury, data loss, or “magic smoke” resulting from these DIY efforts. Proceed at your own risk.
Accessibility Statement
I am committed to making this digital sanctuary accessible to as many people as possible. This site aims to follow WCAG 2.1 guidelines to ensure usability across various devices and assistive technologies. As this is an evolving, independent project, if you encounter any barriers or have suggestions for improvement, please reach out so I can address them.
This website is a non-commercial venture. I don’t run ads, sell user data, or gatekeep information behind paywalls. The hardware, electricity, and maintenance are funded entirely out of pocket because I believe in an independent, open web.
If you find value in the technical builds, guides, or philosophy shared here and would like to help keep the servers humming, donations are gratefully accepted. Every contribution goes directly toward hardware upgrades and infrastructure costs.
